ei³ Releases New Commercial Website
(03/18/2005) - As you may have noticed, ei³ has released a new commercial
website to better highlight the company's core focuses and strengths. The
company's new focus continues to be on OEMs and manufacturers, but focusing
on remote service enablement and remote monitoring, or productivity tools.
Once you log in, the client site will maintain the same look, feel and
functionality.
Client site will have new features
(11/22/2004) - On December 3rd, the ei³ client web site will be upgraded to
have some new features. One improvement is that the web pages will become
more "printer friendly" by automatically adjusting to fit the size of your
printer. Another is that for improved readability the color of the
background will changed to be white instead of light green. Finally, we have
created a communications channel to alert you about products and services
that may have a positive impact on your business.
New Machine Data Console
(6/17/2004) - ei³ has developed a new machine data console to provide
customers with an overview of all monitored process lines, upon logging onto
their website. This tool will help improve access & visibility of data so
that ei³ users are more aware of what is happening throughout the plant.
As pictured below, this new console uses green, yellow and red color coding
to identify machine status, and provides details of day, shift and batch
recipe performance, as well as summaries of the most recent machine trouble
tickets. Further, from this console, customers can link directly into shift,
day, batch, and downtime incident reports.
Shift & Day Performance Reports in Recipe Management provide helpful
statistics and graphs
(4/23/2004) - Our Recipe Management product has been further upgraded to
include summary reporting by day or individual shift. These performance
reports, accessible from the Recipe Management area under the heading "Perf.
Reports," detail the OEE, productivity, and up and down times, with
additional information about batch performance and roll specifics. With
ease, one can access an overview of machine performance on a day-by-day or
shift-by-shift basis.
ei³ can also create customized performance reports, calling on any set of
machine details or manufacturing statistics that our customers desire. These
reports would be accessible in the "Perf. Reports" section of Recipe
Management, as well.
Run Time Estimator and Recipe Setpoint Optimizer now available in Recipe
Management
(3/30/2004) - ei³'s Recipe Management System has 2 new features: (1) The Run
Time Estimator, a planning application, which uses historical batch
performance information to calculate the amount of time required to
manufacture a given amount of material at a future date; (2) The Optimizer,
a recipe editing tool, which utilizes historical batch performance, setpoint
changes during batch runs, and batch runs' overall OEE to calculate the
optimal performance setpoints for each product recipe.
These products are accessible in Recipe Management under the "Tools" menu.
They can be tied into any financial planning system or ERP at the customer's
request.

(8/30/2003) -Recipe Management has been expanded to enable you to track the
performance of each batch or recipe you load. This utility can be accessed
from the Recipe Management area by selecting "Batch Perf.". From the

tickets logged during the batch. Each roll produced during the batch also
has a report that can be accessed by clicking on the Roll ID#.
This tool gives you the power to quickly see the productivity, quality and
output of your process line.
Download raw data to use with MS Excel or your favorite statistical analysis
software
(2/21/2003) -Recipe Management has been expanded to enable raw data to be
exported and used with your favorite analysis package. This powerful utility
allows you to select which parameters that you want and the day you are
interested in. The data is then streamed securely to your computer as a
comma separated value file (.CSV) a format used by most popular programs.
With the ei³ Alarming you now have a quick and powerful way to gauge the
current status of your equipment
