
Spencer Cramer founded Ei3 in March 1999 to pursue his vision of building a company that uses the internet to connect machines & devices to people & systems. By steadfastly following a strategy of delivering cloud computing platforms that perform remote monitoring to global enterprises, Mr. Cramer has built Ei3 into an award-winning global leader within the field of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications, the nascent market that is also known today as Smart Services. As Chief Executive Officer Spencer provides vision and contributes towards Ei3′s mission by setting strategy and managing day-to-day operations. With 25 years of leadership experience in technology companies, his track record of business success comes from his ability to innovate, finance business plans, license technology, create enterprise sales, provide administration, and manage teams. Spencer’s well rounded approach to business development and growth has enabled Ei3′s success in becoming entrenched as a premium participant in its high-technology market.

Dr. Bruce Platt is a highly accomplished technologist with more than 40 years of experience in computer services, networking and device development. With his substantial experience, Bruce leads Ei3′s research efforts and under his guidance, Ei3′s team creates innovative networking methods to connect to remote machines and systems. Bruce focuses on harnessing the practical aspects of new technologies in networking and embedded devices to create solutions that maximize customer benefit. He is also responsible for the development and support of Ei3′s custom embedded hardware devices that meet specific client needs. Bruce has been with Ei3 since 2001 and his contributions have been instrumental in the design of our network, creation of the Argo remote service platform, the Amphion line of networking devices, and other key innovations.

Anatoliy Birman is a seasoned computer science professional who has more than 20 years of experience developing solutions for highly complex, real time machine controls and remote monitoring solutions. Ei3′s development team is lead by Anatoliy who leverages his deep understanding of digital devices, creativity and computer science skills enabling Ei3′s delivery of sophisticated cloud platforms for remote monitoring. Since 2000, Mr. Birman’s technical leadership and work has resulted in the creation of numerous innovations within Ei3′s remote monitoring platform including Ei3′s remote monitoring core which is used by many leading industrial manufacturers and has the ability to simultaneously monitor a global install base of thousands of machines having a wide diversity of on-board devices of various manufacture and age. In addition to his responsibilities for leading the development of Ei3′s core remote monitoring servers, Mr. Birman’s development team constantly creates new device interfaces and adds to the library of compatibility solutions for interfacing digital on-site equipment with Ei3′s platform.

Frazier Sinker is an Information Technology executive with more than 20 years of experience managing high profile and mission critical projects. Frazier joined Ei3 in 2009 and leads the Ei3 Applications Team in creating and delivering innovative Software-as-a-Service platforms based on Ei3′s portfolio of proprietary intellectual property, research and development. Frazier leverages his background and experience in custom application development, enterprise application management, and systems integration to architect and direct the creation of Ei3′s award winning Smart Service platforms, bringing them to the marketplace rapidly while adapting to changing market requirements and technological advances.

Ken Herndon is a highly skilled software development executive with more than 25 years of experience within the field of Software-as-a-Service. He adds both depth and breadth to Ei3′s team by contributing to the development of custom Ei3 platforms including the specification, design and development of system architectures, databases, user interfaces and mobile platforms. Ken leads Ei3′s Client Solutions team with the mission of expanding the functionality of Ei3′s SaaS platforms by incorporating new technologies while addressing specialized individual requirements of customers by building custom solutions. Ken also brings his ability to communicate with clients, analyze complex project requirements to define implementation strategies, and follow-through to achieve successful end results.

As Director of Operations, Chad ensure that Ei3′s day-to-day business runs smoothly by providing his leadership and follow-through. His meticulous attention to detail, determination to ensure tasks are accomplished, and customer focus have been instrumental in the creation of Ei3′s customer-first company culture. Chad is responsible for supervising the production and shipment of devices, provisioning of Software-as-a-Service connections, customer support, and training. He has been with Ei3 since its inception and has participated in and developed many of the internal systems and policies that have enabled Ei3 to establish a trend of solid growth and success.

Ei3′s business services, including purchasing and accounting, are managed by Ei3′s Controller, Donna Meier. With Ei3 since 2006, Ms. Meier’s experience in financial controls helps her manage the people and systems that keep the business of Ei3 running smoothly. Ei3′s customer base consists of international global enterprises who have unique and diverse requirements for the commercial handling of SaaS contracts. Donna works with customers to ensure that the commercial aspects of Ei3 service delivery fit their needs and are handled accurately. And when new clients are brought online, Donna works with the Ei3 technical team to specify the supporting features and systems required for building long-term sustainable relationships.

Varian Hebert is a computer security professional with more than 15 years of experience in advanced systems support. Varian is responsible for Ei3′s global infrastructure consisting of three primary Data Centers located strategically around the world and other supported sites. Ei3′s smart service platforms are in constant contact with thousands of devices monitoring millions of data points. The capability to deliver this as a service to our customers is managed by Varian’s network engineering team based at Ei3′s global Network Operations Center. In addition to managing the existing install base, the Mr. Hebert’s Network Engineering Team also coordinates new installations, configuring and provisioning of sites.
