eił Enters Commercial Partnership with Schneider Electric
Montvale,NJ & Paris, FRANCE, April 18, 2006
– ei3, a
provider of real-time secure device access and web-enabled data
acquisition and reporting software, today announced a partnership
with Schneider Electric, a global leader in electricity and
automation management, to expand the capabilities of its existing
remote access and monitoring services division, Senside.
All
Senside services will now be provided directly by ei3 to current
customers. Moving forward, ei3 and Schneider Electric will work
together to identify opportunities where remote services can
deliver value.
ei3
will benefit from this partnership beyond increasing its customer
base. The integration of Senside broadens ei3’s product
line by adding new remote access solutions and further provides
ei3 with global distribution.
In
addition to a variety of remote access solutions, ei3 and
Schneider Electric will offer a suite of productivity tools to
OEMs and their customers, which include monitoring, alarming,
disaster recovery, recipe management, and downtime tracking.
Delivered as hosted applications, ei3's services minimize
expenses, while providing new ways for manufacturers to maximize
output, quality and performance.
Brett
Smith, CEO of ei3, commented, "Our engineering services
provide Senside customers with enhanced speed and enhanced
security in their remote access solution so that OEM technicians
can provide service faster and safer. This inevitably will lead
to reduced machine downtime which accordingly will increase each
machine owner’s productivity, adding money directly to
their bottom line."
With
little to no upfront cost, the return-on-investment for ei3's
services can easily be quantified by comparing speed of problem
resolution to cost of downtime. Quickly and easily deployed,
Senside customers will realize immediate improvements in
productivity and uptime from ei3's 24x7 technical support
augmentation and software solutions.
"ei3
and their extensive network connectivity solutions enable our
customers to gain high-speed, full machine troubleshooting access
to any machine in the world from any location in the world at any
time," says Leon Chabannes for Schneider Electric.
"Also, with ei3, OEMs can provide their end users a
number of software tools to acquire data that can help boost
machine efficiencies and operations."
