Bobst Group North America and Ei3 Corporation introduce InView Quality Management

Rosemount, IL June 3, 2007 Today the Bobst Group and Ei3 Corporation jointly announced the release of InView Quality Management, an extension of the Bobst Group North America suite of internet powered services for converting manufacturers.

Bobst Group's Flexible Materials division can now deliver InView Quality Management, a web application for converters that is developed and hosted by Ei3 Corporation. Quality Management includes operator dashboards, quality test forms, machine monitoring, SPC algorithms and reports that are designed to meet the unique needs of quality management in web converting.

"InView Quality Management demonstrates The Bobst Group's commitment to meet the needs of its customers by delivering advanced productivity-oriented services" said Alain Jendly, Vice President of Flexible Materials North America. "Because the requirements for documenting quality results are increasing within the converting industry, our customers will appreciate how InView Quality Management builds upon the procedures they already have in place."

Ei3's President and CEO, Spencer Cramer, added, "Our goal for Quality Management is to create benefits for both The Bobst Group and its customers by incorporating proven converting best practices into the application. We are pleased to be growing our business relationship with The Bobst Group by adding Quality Management to the InView portfolio of services."

Other InView services include technical support tools for remote service access and production reporting tools. InView Quality Management can be bundled together as a part of a complete Bobst Group Service Plan or can be used individually. InView service plans require the customer to provide broadband internet access. The Bobst Group handles all the machine integration and network security requirements. Once a plant is set-up, the application is delivered for a periodic service fee. Most plant sites can be activated in two to four weeks.
